Our characters have rich inner landscapes that help make them who they are. How does a writer go about figuring out what a character’s history is like and how it affects their personality? How does a character’s psyche affect what they do as well as how they do it? In this three session workshop, you’ll learn how to dive deep into a character and emerge with the pearls you need.
This class is designed for writers who understand story basics and are looking to advance and refine their short story skills. Students will work with one story over the course of the workshop in order to apply new skills as they are acquired.
Meets Sunday evenings, 7-9 PM Eastern time, October 5, 12, and 19. (3 sessions)
Cost: Free to Super Extra Deluxe Campus Pass holders; $99 for Scholar Level Patreon members, otherwise $149.
