Fun, fantastic, and delicious―I loved it!

I love how much mileage—make that how many parsecs—Rambo’s novels get out of fundamental longings to consume everything from simple comfort food to gourmet meals prepared and served in a restaurant with an unparalleled view of a distant galaxy. 

Fun and action-packed.... This action-packed space opera is loads of fun.

Cat Rambo’s You Sexy Thing, a truly hilarious and wonderful sci-fi novel that deliberately engages with the POV.

A romp. If you’re the kind of person who likes Mass Effect, or enjoyed Valerie Valdes’s Chilling Effect and Prime Deceptions, or fell head-over-heels for Tim Pratt’s Axiom trilogy... then this book is definitely for you. This is a fast, zippy novel that hides some surprisingly substantial emotional heavy lifting under its hood.

A delightful combination of space opera, mystery and loveable characters, You Sexy Thing is a hopeful adventure and an excellent start to a new series.

The worldbuilding is fascinating with well-written, believable non-humans, of which You Sexy Thing is the most fun. There is graphic violence, torture, heartbreak, friendship, betrayal, and a story that grabs you and takes off at warp speed.

I recommend this for fans of Farscape, Firefly, complicated relationships,and cooking shows.... The worst part about the book is that I want so badly to know what happens next.

A wonderful beginning to a saga I can’t wait to continue diving in to! Great characters, fun twists and a reminder that you make your family, and they shape you, too.

Along with an excellent cast, Rambo created a book about found family and what it means to be part of one when the situation is dire.

The ship’s perspectives on events – including their thoughts about their own journey, are terrific. I could have been immersed in those parts of the story forever.

The plot is surprising and compelling, and I found myself unable to put it down so I could find out what happened to the this motley bunch. If you love food, found family, and space opera, this is will be a must read book for you.

Outstanding use of the beings’ characteristics to bring to bear the plot, getting the players into and out of the situations that make the book exciting. I was truly worried about them actually surviving at one point, which I count as high marks for the author.
